So as the news has died down now, Hurricane Ike NEVER came to good ole corpus! Blessed we are! As I was looking through some pictures I was thinking about how much work we did to get ready. Holy Smoke. But I guess its better safe than sorry! We boarded up not only our house, but also my mother in laws house. (And for those who have seen her house...know that is NO small task!)

Even the CHURCH was Off limits.
(Look closely - I am not the only one who CAN NOT Spell!)
At the end of the day when we finally got to our house it was the good ole missionaries who gave us a helping hand. Thanks Boys!
All that prep - for nothing! Not that I wished Ike would come and hit us but at least a rain storm or something! Oh well... there is still 60 something days left of Hurricane Season!
