Having a house that was built in the 1917 has its ups and downs. Two of our rooms have the original hard wood floor from when the house was build. I LOVE IT. I like the look, I like that its cleaner than carpet and I don't want to get rid of it! BUT - unfortunately the other day one of the pieces fell trough and broke. Just one piece! I called our Landlord (AKA the Father In Law) and told him what happened so a week or so later he came over to "take a look." The next day he brought some buddies and were going to fix the whole.
Only the bottom part where the leg of the futon is was the ORIGINAL hole! The workers made the other one.... So I started to get worried because now it was a BIG hole!
so apparently the hole they created was not big enough - they now made this whole!!!! It went from Big to HUGE!!!
And from HUGE to GIGANTIC!!!!!!
But No WORRIED!!! Its "Covered up so NO BUGS will get in" How thoughtfull!!!!
(Yes, this is me venting nicely - who said I am not nice! SHAME ON YOU!)

Oh, I'm so sorry! I hope they can get it fixed and restored. I love hard wood floors and older homes, but they are such a pain when it comes to fixing!!!
