The joys of an old house

Well it happened... we knew it would sooner or later, and now I am glad its all over. Recently we had a huge plumbing problem. (I wont go into detail since I think Plumbing is totally gross) But of course there is a cool story to go with it!
We had to dig to get under the house. Dig A LOT! After all the digging someone had to crawl under the house. Crawl A LOT! And while under the house a metal box was found deep under the house. Of course wondering what was in a tightly sealed metal box deep under the house, it was pulled out from under the house and beaten with a shovel, rake, and whatever else was laying around to open it. Before the box was broken open, words such as "treasure, time capsule and gold" were spoken. And after the box was broken open, the words were "close it." It was no a treasure, or a time capsule and it was definitely not gold, but instead a dead 3/4 of the way decomposed animal. It still had fur and bones and yuckl!!! It stunk so bad! The box was quickly closed and thrown away.

Here are some Pictures of Gabe and his dad digging... or Gabe digging and our "Landlord" supervising. And the BOX.
