ALEX IV

So Alex and and went. He missed Texas completly, but he sent some strong winds, and LOT and LOTS of rain! Which rain is a good thing ;) 

I tried to take some pictures when it was pouring and if you look closely you can see the "pouring."  It poured for hours and hours and when it stopped and was all done, it was beautiful and peaceful.

I went for a walk down town when all the rain finally stopped and I was amazed how high the water got.  The walkways to the boats at the T-heads was completely covered with Water. There were a few men out there, re-tieing their boats.  When the winds were going super strong the boat were hitting each other.  Two of the men were yelling at each other to control their boats. It was entertaining. I didn't take a picture of them... I didn't want to make them more upset! lol

Here is McGee Beach.. there is usually about 100 feet of beach but the water was so high there was only about 2 feet!
