Gabe and I have been so busy lately we have been feeling like we needed to take a break. With the year ending and us looking back all we can recall is going going going... MY WORK HIS BUSINESS CHURCH YOUNG WOMEN'S SCOUTS FAMILY MY SIDE BUSINESS THE HOUSE and on and on and on... It never seems to stop! I was extremely worn out, tired, irritated and was at the point where I stopped caring and just did things because the needed to get done. Every so often I get to this point... Not often - but it does happen. But these are the times that I learn from my Heavenly Father. He knows us... ALL OF US. Which is hard to think about sometimes but when you understand the Gospel and you see how he blesses our lives there is no doubt. I know he knows me...way better than I know me.
Now, why I bring this up? I received that well needed break! A good friend of mine, Brother King, offered Gabe and I a last minute trip. He had purchased the trip for him and his family but his daughter got ill over Christmas and they decided as a family they would not go this time. Brother King called me up a day or two before Christmas and asked if Gabe and I would be interested in going on a paid for trip? To where you ask? Orlando Florida. We would leave the day after Christmas...I talked to Gabe about it and asked my office manager if I could have some days off and everything worked out. With little time to prepare we packed, rented a car, and the day after Christmas drove to FL. It took us about 20 hours to get there, but it was great! No work phone calls, not church phone calls, there is nothing we can do from Fl.... just me and Gabe.
We got to Florida and got some Disney World Passes. Gabe had never been before. I had the opportunity to go once with my BFF :) Amber and her kiddos. We had the time of our lives! We stayed at a beautiful resort! The weather was perfect. The parks were great, and what made it better than anything is...Gabe and I got to celebrate our anniversary. Gabe and I had been thinking where we could spend our 1 year anniversary (Jan4th) and could not think of anything, for one reason or another nothing worked out before this. Know we know why!
Disney world was great...We got to go to all the Four Major Parks plus the Water Park plus Down Town Disney! Gabe is not as familiar with all the Disney movies but he learned quickly! I wanted to wait in every line to take a picture with each character. We rode most of the rides, and took TONS of pictures. It was so great being able to spend one on one time with Gabe.

How fun! I love DisneyWorld and Disneyland! I went for my first time to DisneyWorld this year and it was amazing! :) And it's good that you guys got to spend a little time together, finally. I need to come visit you. Maybe if I find a job I can finally afford it. :) Ha ha!
Hey girl! I am so jealous! We did the whole Disney World thing last Feb and I can hardly wait to get back! I'm glad you got to get away and enjoy the time together!
