Living in Corpus has many ups! One of being that we have a naval air station right down the street in the bay! When I used to live on Campus, right next door to the base, I used to think this was a curse! Because - the "stinking" pilots would wake me up from my many naps when flying above. Then as I made a few Pilot friends, having a base near by wasn't so bad, but now, having a base is great! Why? I live far enough away where they can fly all the want to and it not bother me... BUT BEST OF ALL!!! Is that I get to attend the Airshow every year! I REALLY enjoy it! I think it is so neat. I enjoy flying my self. (In a huge aircraft - probably not as cool as actually flying the plane, but still cool) The engineering of planes and all that jazz just amazes me. It boggles my mind how when put together right things can fly! Strange I know, but remember whose blog your reading! So this year, Gabe had to work so I took some of my friends and some of their Kiddos and headed to the airshow! I think I was WAY more amazed than the kiddos!
It was way HOT outside but still worth it! There were planes to look at everywhere and people finding shade under every single one of them!

Fun! I love the air shows! Haha, I remember when you would complain about them flying over your place at 6 in the morning!
