The Rest of 2007

...its funny how I am still catching you up to where I am now. Many of you reading this know me, although now a days who knows who is on the Internet reading all about my life. For those of you who do know me, I am not one to stay in a situation I am not too happy with. A week after the last post ended, I took what little money I had and I rented a little car. I packed clothes, the laptop, and the re-re duck and drove 16 hours straight. I went to where we all long to go when something is wrong. I went to go see my mama in the place where my heart was: TEXAS! I spent a good week with her in Austin. It was nice, no responsibility. Oh to be 10 again. After the week was over I make the trip down to Corpus Christi. I went to go see Gabe, him being as happy as ever to see me. Mrs. Elana (Gabe's Mom, my future Mother-In-Law) offered to let me stay at here house. Her house is big enough to where I could have my own space and not bother them too much. I very gratefully took her up on her offer and spent some time there. From what I wanted to be weeks turned into months. Before I knew it summer was over. Fall was here and it was time to be a big girl again. I started to look for jobs. Gabe owns an Electric business, so this whole time I was off I was helping him with the "Office Work". But then, I found one - more than one - I picked from Nannying twins (to close to home), being a nanny for two mom's (and they wanted me to be live-in) or being a bank teller (no nap time). I ended up taking a job at AmericanBank on August 18th. Now that the job was done. It was time to find a place to live. Being the independent person I was I wanted to be in my own place. After many talks with Gabe, the decision was made to stay at Mrs. Elana's until the wedding. (Which a date was set for Jan 04, 2008) While planning the wedding and working now full time, the fall flew by. We were picking wedding colors and flowers one day, and then it was time to send the invitations. As the wedding got closer the engagement became harder. Gabe and I were learning to be with each other on a whole new level. And now it was Holiday time....
